Biography

Rick Cory earned a Ph.D. at the MIT Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Lab (CSAIL) in 2010, where he studied robotic control for fixed-wing perching maneuvers. Rick’s previous experience includes appointments at NASA’s Johnson Space Center where he worked on the first generation Robonaut, as well as the ATR Center for Humanoid Robotics and Computational Neuroscience in Japan. More recently Rick held a Research Engineer position at Walt Disney Imagineering Research and Development, where he worked on novel animatronic robot designs.
