The Crucible of Sustainable Aviation

A global faculty of technology experts and visionaries will convene April 21-22, 2017 in the San Francisco Bay Area to advance the world of sustainable aviation and emission-free flight.

SA Symposium Program Chairman, Dr. Brien Seeley, reports on the progress:

After my 11 years convening global leaders in this field, it is clear to me that this 2017 event is going to surpass them all. It will be held at the beautiful Hotel Pullman San Francisco Bay, close to SFO and to Silicon Valley. The rapidly expanding prospects for clean electric propulsion and autonomous flight are attracting a wide array of leaders from across the globe in each of the key technology sectors.

The SA Symposium 2017 Program has these keynote presenters on tap with several more to be added soon:

  • Dr. Tine Tomazic of Pipistrel on Inaugural Sustainable Aviation Keynote Lecture
  • Todd Reichert and Cameron Robertson of Kitty Hawk on The 2nd Annual Honorary Paul B. MacCready Lecture

Detailed discussion panels on Batteries, Energy Storage, Aerodynamics, Noise Reduction and Motors will convene their top experts during evening theme dinners.
